At Nagu Auto Collision Centre we take your car's braking system seriously. We take the time to perform a complete and thorough inspection, regardless of what we think the cause of the problem may be. After all, your family's safety is what's most important.

DISK BRAKE SYSTEM:

A brake inspection starts with a road test, to give our technician an understanding of how your brake system is functioning. We then do a comprehensive testing of the hydraulic, power assist & parking brake systems. The stop lights are checked, as are the warning indicators and the condition of the brake fluid.

Once on the hoist, we inspect all steel lines for leaks or excessive rust, and hoses are checked for cracks, leaks or internal damage. We inspect the parking brake cables for deformation or binding, and wheels are spun to ensure free-wheeling before being removed. Once removed, we inspect the linings, rotors and calipers. We then compare drum and rotor measurements to your car's specifications. If your car is equipped with ABS, we may do additional testing and if there are any apparent system malfunctions.

DRUM BRAKE SYSTEM:

Once our inspection is complete, we draw up an estimate designed to give you an idea of the current state of the complete brake system, along with a break-down of necessary repairs, including the costs. We never perform unsafe repairs and ensure that your car is functioning well before releasing it to you. We are always conscious of your budget needs and give you options with your brake repairs to help you make a decision.
